Hello, I am glad you are here! My name is Joetta Shekpeh and I am a portrait and lifestyle photographer primarily located in the Houston Metro area.

A bit about me: I was born in Monrovia, Liberia, a little country located on the coast of West Africa. My family and I immigrated to the United States when I was five years old. I was raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, attended college at the University of Minnesota and now I live in Houston, Texas.

My passion and appreciation for great photos began at an early age but I did not do much about this passion until my sophomore year of college when I purchased my first professional camera. What started off as a hobby is now a full-blown business and I love every minute of it.
